As a Project Manager for QT Commercial you will be responsible for planning and controlling every stage (from pre-construction through to completion) of roofing installations or repairs to commercial properties for multiple concurrent construction projects. You’ll be required to complete projects on time and within budget, while ensuring that roofing teams work in safe conditions.

Qualified candidates will receive a generous base + commission

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge required to determine materials and manpower needed for each roofing project.
• Estimate the time to complete each roofing project and coordinate with teams from varying trades, as appropriate.
• Determine materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules to ensure roofing membrane, insulation material, fascia’s, etc. are available when needed.
• Plan and ascertain availability of scaffolding, crane, safety apparatuses and other equipment requirements for the project.
• Review architect's roofing design to plan the sequence of work. Identify any practical problems in achieving the planned result and discuss any necessary changes with the team.
• Inspect the quality of work throughout the job to ensure QT standards are met.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver reports detailing the progress of all roofing work.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial roofing project management
• Ability to motivate and direct the actions of others
• Experience in project costing and planning
• Knowledge of roofing techniques
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of roofing/construction management including legal issues and safety standards.

Commercial Roofers

We are currently seeking commercial roofers for the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Experience is preferred. If you have some form of construction experience, are not afraid of heights and are a self-motivated individual willing to learn, then we WANT you!

We install single ply EPDM rubber, TPO, PVC, metal and asphalt roofing. Training is provided for those who want to learn the industry.

Preferred Skills:

• Dependable transportation and a valid Drivers License
• Necessary hand tools – We can help get you started!
• Willingness to excel
• Good communication
• Knowledge of roofing systems and the application process from start to finish; or the motivation to learn our process
• Adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Care of construction materials, equipment and tools
• Punctuality and good overall attendance
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Maintain a positive and professional image

Commercial Roofing - Lead Service Tech

We are currently seeking a Commercial Roofing - Service Technician for the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. If you are a self-motivated individual willing to learn then we WANT you!

We install single ply EPDM rubber, TPO, PVC, metal and asphalt roofing.

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a commercial roofer
• Ability to read roofing plans and interpret maps
• Computer skills (various apps/tablet or ipad)

Preferred Skills:

• Dependable transportation and a valid Drivers License
• Clean driving record
• Necessary hand tools – We can help get you started!
• Willingness to excel
• Good communication
• Knowledge of roofing systems and the application process from start to finish; or the motivation to learn our process
• Adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Care of construction materials, equipment and tools
• Punctuality and good overall attendance
